Chasin the Blues is an evening of live music and dance in Lewes.  It was established by Bob Taylor in 1993 and ran monthly at The All Saints center in Lewes until 2001. 

Bob organised all the events with the help from many friends who shared his enthusiasm and were willing to donate their time. Chasin the Blues has featured many artists such as Big Joe Turner, Dana Gillespie, Tina May, Clarence Tex Walker and Herbie Flowers.

In 2006 Bob teamed up with Danny Cooklin, who had originally supplied the sound, and the event was resurrected. Since the re-launch there were many great performances from artists including Jerimiah Marques, Errol Linton, Dani Wilde, Deep Mamboo, Los Albertos, Dennis Bovell and more.
